A bloom of fiery brilliance, the 'High and Magic' rose bursts to life in a radiant blend of yellow, orange, and red, set against a deep black background. This handprinted pochoir piece captures the rose’s dramatic colour transitions, its velvety petals glowing as if lit from within.
Inspired by a beautiful bunch of roses my mum gave me, the strong, bright colours and petite size of this striking print signify an intimate, yet powerful celebration of love and cherished moments.
Meticulously crafted using the traditional pochoir stencil technique, I created each print in this limited edition of 12 by building up layer upon layer of colour gradations through hand cut stencils , achieving a richness and depth that brings the rose to life. The bold contrast of the luminous petals against the dark background enhances the rose’s natural intensity, making this an eye-catching piece, despite its small size.
